The Way Forward Foundation is not active just yet.
This foundation is being developed to reduce barriers to entry for emerging mental health professionals from historically underrepresented communities.
The mental health field has long treated whiteness, wealth, cisgender heterosexual identities, and neurotypicality as the unspoken default. We believe that harms both providers and the communities they serve. Our long-term goal is to support training, supervision, and early-career opportunities for clinicians whose lived experiences have too often been excluded from leadership, sustainability, and visibility in this field.
This page reflects our intention, not a current funding program. As the Foundation becomes active, details about eligibility, scope, and support will be shared transparently.
